How it works

Three steps

1. Photograph the print

Lay it flat, daylight from a window, no flash. A phone photo is enough — it does not need a scanner.

2. Send it and say “fix this”

The bot looks at the photo first and tells you what it can see: the crease, the fading, the missing corner.

3. Ask for more

“brighter”, “keep it black and white”, “sharper faces”. Each answer comes back in about ten seconds.

Questions

Common questions

Can it fix a photo with a piece missing?

Usually. It fills the gap with what the rest of the photo suggests should be there. That is a plausible reconstruction, not the real thing — if the missing piece was somebody's face, treat the result as a drawing rather than a record.

Will it change what my relatives looked like?

It tries not to, and it works from what is in the photo. Faces that are badly damaged or very small come back least reliably, so check the result against your memory of the person.

Does it work on black and white photos?

Yes, both ways. It can repair the damage and leave it black and white, or add natural colour. Say which you want — by default it keeps the original look.

What do I get back?

The finished picture at high resolution, up to 4K, with no watermark. Telegram compresses anything sent as a photo, so the bot sends the uncompressed file alongside it.
